Brainstorming is one of the most critical steps in development. This should be done prior the start of the development. Most developers (including me) sometimes try to skip this step and jump into the code, but it is proven me a number of times that it is crucial to understand the complete picture before building [...]

A friend of mine has convinced me to learn hockey and play in their immature hockey team. I never thought that I would do it as I always thought that hockey playing is hard and you have to learn that when you’re much younger.
I went and saw the “one for the money” this weekend. Not sure why critic reviews were so poor for the movie as I really enjoyed it. It was really funny in an awkward kind of way. I like Katherine Heigl’s movies, she’s not the cutest actress, but her movies are great.
Newsletter is becoming an essential part of any website. If you read a lot of blogs, you’ve probably noticed the recent push towards newsletter subscriptions. And it’s not just blogs, I’m noticing this trend in all everywhere.
Back in December 2011, I started a new development competition. See here for details. It was really meant to be a way to push the participants finishing up one of their projects within 1 month. See the results.
Web development has changed a lot in the last few years. With all the different technologies emerging, the cost of development has increased tremendously. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for small companies or individuals to build and launch their ideas that may involve custom software development and this includes domainers as well.
I wanted to go to ice skating the other day, but then I remembered, last time I went, it wasn’t pretty, lol. I’m just not good at it, but it’s a hell of a fun sport. I am considering taking a few private lessons. A friend of mine wanted to go real bad but I [...]
I have done lots and lots of projects overtime but I wanted to share a couple of them that failed for the same reason but there were still successful for the time being. One of them was a shopping comparison site and the other a search engine.
TopDrops.com Beta launched on Monday and it’s doing great so far. It didn’t have any major hiccups or bugs. The sign-up rate has exceeded my expectations. Thank you all for participating. Here is some updates on TopDrops and my today’s TopDrop picks.
Good Morning, I am excited to announce that I just launched TopDrops.com BETA. It has been a long journey in such a short amount of time. I haven’t slept much last night, but I am glad that I was able to do it.
Hi everyone, hope you’re having a great weekend. We have a nice breezy/sunny weather here in LA. I like the fresh air, it’s not too cold so you can still seat outside and enjoy your coffee. It’s already January 8th, I can’t believe how fast the time is flying and tomorrow is a big day!
I’ve set a date. TopDrops Beta is going to launch on Monday, January 9th. TopDrops.com is only focusing on domains with at least some exact search volume. See some of my today’s domain picks.
I am glad 2011 is over. 2011 was a very long and at the same time very short year. I had a great shift in my development techniques and very happy about that. I also wanted to share some of the other projects that I worked on in 2011.
Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great Holiday weekend. As for me, as usual, I’m rushing to complete a project, in this case, TopDrops.com. I really want to get the demo out before the new years. It’s just a promise that I’ve made to myself.
I’m having a great weekend, hope you are too. As always, I’m working on my projects and trying to shorten my to do list. I usually do go out in the evenings, so only have a few hours to get some work done. Here is a update on the projects I’m working on.
I’ve been spending a lot of time lately on building TopDrops.com and am happy to announce that the backend is done. I’ve started running the filter on daily bases.
I started working on the “Big Idea” this summer. I wrote a couple of posts on it back in June of this year. I even took time off from blogging to focus on the idea. The idea is still great. You can read my initial posts here and here.
I’ve been explaining this analogy to a few people lately and I wanted to describe it in more detail here. Having an idea is great, but I’m seeing that a lot of people are taking a wrong path when choosing an idea to work on.
Those of you that have been there know the joyful feeling when you see visitor numbers skyrocket. While it really does feel great to see those high numbers, it should not be your focus. Your focus should be User Value!
