The Value Of A Conference and Why You should Go

There are conferences in all major industries and there is a reason why they are so popular. Often times, some of the major deals are done at the conferences. It is also important to note that you shouldn’t just focus on conferences in your field.

Weekend Updates – see my pic

I went and saw the “one for the money” this weekend. Not sure why critic reviews were so poor for the movie as I really enjoyed it. It was really funny in an awkward kind of way. I like Katherine Heigl’s movies, she’s not the cutest actress, but her movies are great.

How To Make A Consistent Newsletter

Creating an html newsletter is not as easy as it seems. It requires great deal of attention to detail and testing to get it right. The idea of html newsletter is great because you get to use html in your newsletter, but just like browsers that don’t support certain html tags or javascript, email clients [...]

My Today’s Picks from

I have to stop looking at TopDrops. I can’t afford to spend that much money at the auctions. Every time I go through the list, there is always something I want to buy. Anyway, hope you guys are having a great Friday, take a look at some of my picks for today.

Importance of Newsletter

Newsletter is becoming an essential part of any website. If you read a lot of blogs, you’ve probably noticed the recent push towards newsletter subscriptions. And it’s not just blogs, I’m noticing this trend in all everywhere.

1 Month Deadline Competition Results

Back in December 2011, I started a new development competition. See here for details. It was really meant to be a way to push the participants finishing up one of their projects within 1 month. See the results.

My Today’s Picks From TopDrops

I’m seeing some great domains, wanted to share a few with you. Now with GoDaddy Auctions, there are more domains to go through.

Project Updates

Hi guys, hope you had a great weekend. I had an extremely busy weekend, didn’t have much time to work on the projects. But did manage to finally put a check-mark on one of the to do items for TopDrops.

Web Development in 2012

Web development has changed a lot in the last few years. With all the different technologies emerging, the cost of development has increased tremendously. It’s becoming increasingly  difficult for small companies or individuals to build and launch their ideas that may involve custom software development and this includes domainers as well.

A Few Of My Today’s Picks From

TopDrops is doing great so far but there is still a lot to be done. I’m almost done with GoDaddy Auction integration and that will go live in a day or so.  See some of my today’s picks from TopDrops.

Do You Have A Great Domain?

I wanted to go to ice skating the other day, but then I remembered, last time I went, it wasn’t pretty, lol. I’m just not good at it, but it’s a hell of a fun sport. I am considering taking a few private lessons. A friend of mine wanted to go real bad but I [...]

A Couple of My Successful Failure Projects

I have done lots and lots of projects overtime but I wanted to share a couple of them that failed for the same reason but there were still successful for the time being. One of them was a shopping comparison site and the other a search engine.

Why Is There No Alternative To Adsense?

Do you ever feel like adsense hasn’t change a bit for 5 years? Yes, they created a new interface, with some new reporting features. But is there really a major change on how ads are published or what options adsense publishers have? I’d say very little and it’s all because there is no close alternative.

Weekend Updates

Happy long weekend! I should take some time off, but there is just a lot to do. It’s been a long busy week with the launch of TopDrops, but it’s doing great so far. Here is an update on some of my projects.

The Bidding War for Category Killer Domain

I usually don’t like auctions as I end-up spending more than I planned. But sometimes, you just can’t help it. You backorder a domain you really want and guess what, someone else really wants it too. So you basically start battling with the other bidders. I just spent 2k to win a battle. had a Successful Launch Beta launched on Monday and it’s doing great so far. It didn’t have any major hiccups or bugs. The sign-up rate has exceeded my expectations. Thank you all for participating. Here is some updates on TopDrops and my today’s TopDrop picks. BETA just Launched!

Good Morning, I am excited to announce that I just launched BETA. It has been a long journey in such a short amount of time. I haven’t slept much last night, but I am glad that I was able to do it.

Weekend Updates

Hi everyone, hope you’re having a great weekend. We have a nice breezy/sunny weather here in LA. I like the fresh air, it’s not too cold so you can still seat outside and enjoy your coffee. It’s already January 8th, I can’t believe how fast the time is flying and tomorrow is a big day!

Flippa Doesn’t Own Trademark On The Word “Flip”

Recently there were number of stories on Flippa trademark and how it can be used to go after domains with the word “flip” in them. I must say that I strongly disagree.

.US vs .ORG Domain Names

In the domaining world, .ORG always wins. But which one would you choose when picking a domain for development. The answer is not that simple.
